Walking Vals les Bains : holiday and health spa rejuvenation 2017
In the heart of the Vivarais mountains, Vals-les-Bains is an excellent centre for exploring the beautiful valleys of the Ardèche and the Volane rivers. There are many walking routes and the centre is equidistant from the famous Gorges of the Ardèche, the Massif of the Tanargue and the mountains of Ardèche.

Vals Les Bains is on the D578 in Ardèche, 630 Km from Paris, 121 Km from Lyon, 71 Km fromValence and 6 Km from Aubenas.
From Paris, take the A6 to Lyon, then the A7 towards Marseille. Take the exit signposted: Privas / Loriol sur Drôme / Montélimar- sud (Bretelle A7 / N 304). Continue to Vals by the D578.
TGV (High Speed Train) to Valence then taxi to Vals-les-Bains.
GradientEasy to medium; 3-4 hours' walking per day. The walking is suitable for anyone who has the necessary minimum of fitness. Some of the walks are a little more difficult as there are some steep slopes.
